| Stop Climate Chaos: march in London, December 2009 | | http://www.stopclimatechaos.org/march
If you're not already aware of the Stop Climate Chaos coalition, take a look at their web site. The march in December is to coincide with the UN climate summit in Copenhagen. There are other calls for action on their web site that you can take too.

yeah, this is really important to get involved with. Copenhagen is kind of 'do or die' for us and we've got to put the pressure on our leaders.
| Also, there's a resource that you can download from the Stop Climate Chaos coalition to help you get others involved in the Copenhagen campaigns at http://www.stopclimatechaos.org/action-pack.
| looks like the December 5th March in London is going to be quite a big do ... the planning group for a Christian service includes A Rocha UK, Christian Ecology Link, Operation Noah, CAFOD, Christian Aid, Tearfund and others ... and there is already talk of trains & coaches being booked from around the country ... and possibly even of Rowan Williams being there to speak .... watch this space!!
| I've just had an email through from Tearfund the subject 'Everyone wants to go to Copenhagen' and the quote 'Well it seems there’s a lot of interest in going to Copenhagen , so much so that we’ve exceeded our PayPal Quota for the Copenhagen account!'
| Great news, this is SO important. I'd like to encourage all of us to book a slot in our churches in October or November to bring this to everyone's attention and get as many people involved as possible. Even if we can't actually go to London for the 5th we can still write letters/send postcards etc and make sure that our voices are heard.
| yes I agree! another way we can raise the profile of copenhagen in our churches and communities is by starting to plan actions or events - exciting ways of engaging people! If you can, start sorting something now for october/november to coincide with a talk in church? the 350.org campaign is worth looking into for ideas as they're planning a mass of global actions on the 24th October..
